The Program or Department Coordinator II will provide administrative and project coordination functions for the Office of General Counsel.

This role is responsible for the development and execution of work processes and serves a subject matter expert within the program or department.

This role provides both administrative and strategic support toward achieving the overall goals of the program or department.

Responsibilities
Policy system/database administration Manage the Policies inbox  Work closely with Corporate Counsel for initial review of certain template contracts Work closely with Compliance on special projects Manage projects that support business operations by designing project methodologies, data collection and data management, setting project goals and timetables and insuring research and administrative tasks are completed Interpret regulations and policies and draft policies, procedures and best practices for the department  Identify and resolve operational issues with authority to deviate from established policies and procedures without prior approval Plans, organizes and oversee events, determining and securing necessary resources, setting agendas and negotiating rates and contracts as needed Determine reporting needs and analyzes data Determine content, design and write correspondence, documents and presentations Onboard new staff Other duties as assigned by VP, Chief Legal Officer
Qualifications

Required:
High School diploma or equivalent At least one year of relevant experience in business, healthcare or legal experience preferred Advanced ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phones, and in writing in a clear, concise and professional manner Ability to work in a fast paced, complex healthcare environment Ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in carrying out responsibilities Ability to prioritize concurrent responsibilities and demands Basic knowledge of medical terminology may be required for certain roles Strong organizational skills, customer service skills, and critical thinking skills Demonstrates initiative as evidenced by advancing technical skills, sharing knowledge with others learning Ability to work independently and as part of a team as the situation requires.

Ability to multi-task without loss of efficiency or accuracy.

This includes the ability to perform multiple duties received from multiple sources Work and sustain attention with distractions and/or interruptions Interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including customers and patients Deal with people under adverse circumstances Work as an integral part of a team.

Includes the ability to maintain workplace relationships Maintain regular attendance and be punctual

Preferred:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree 3 years experience in healthcare or legal industry Basic experience with electronic file sharing Knowledge of Sharepoint
