Barista (Full-time and Part-time)

Job Duties: Make quality coffee, while building relationships and providing outstanding customer service to every customer Resolve all customer complaints and ensure the customer leaves satisfied Follow guidelines regarding cleanliness and safety daily Keep coffee and food products fully stocked Be an expert on Mercurys menu with the ability to learn new drinks as needed Willingness to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift, as assigned by manager Perform all opening/closing and end of shift tasks efficiently Work well in teams and individually Preferred Skills: Dedicated team player Strong attention to detail with presentation, preparation and cleanliness Self-starter who can maintain a positive and upbeat attitude Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast moving environment Eagerness to learn and grow What we need from you: At least 18 years of age Open availability, including a weekend day (we are currently not hiring seasonal employees) Having coffee experience is not required, but is a plus Outstanding attendance and punctuality Reliable means of getting to and from work The location of this role is in our coffee stores, where you may be in close proximity with other Baristas. You may be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day. In this role you may lift and move up to 50 pounds and have the ability to use all Mercurys Coffee equipment.
