Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Providence Autism Program

This is a Full-time position in Everett, WA posted November 30, 2020.

Providence is calling a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to the Providence Autism Program at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.Board Certified Behavior Analyst with expertise in autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst will conduct diagnostic evaluations and therapy/intervention for children and parents at a neurodevelopmental center.

Additional responsibilities include staff and community training, participation on an interdisciplinary team, and behavior consultation.

Performs all duties in a manner which promotes and supports the Core Values of the Sisters of Providence.Projected start date: Early spring 2021In this position you will:* Knowledge of early childhood development and individual developmental status as it relates to behavior:* Assess current developmental status with standardized assessments.* Participates in treatment plan development, monitoring and decision directed case conferences:* Contributes to decision-directed case conferences;* Develops treatment plans for psychotherapy clients;* Monitors progress of on-going clients.* Performs appropriate assessment and dictates documentation in a timely manner* Conducts individualized diagnostic evaluations;* Completion of daily progress notes and billing.* Knowledge and use of developmental theories , models of practice, principles and evidence based practice to guide behavioral intervention decisions.* Develops functional behavioral plans that incorporate an age appropriate curriculum and system of data collection.* Communicates appropriately with colleagues, supervisors, physicians, peers, etc; Displays honesty and mutual respect.Required qualifications for this position include:* Master’s Degree in behavior analysis, psychology or related clinical field* Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)* Washington State Licensure for Licensed Behavior Analyst.* BLS.* Documented 750 hours of supervised experience* Two (2) years’ experience implementing service to children with autism* Experience in positive behavior support* Expertise in diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders/neurodevelopmental disorders and differential diagnosis* Parent coaching/trainingPreferred qualifications for this position include:* Teaching credential or experience in classroom setting* Consultation and supervision experience* Participation in interdisciplinary settings* Direct experience in preschool setting with ages 3-6 years oldAbout the ministry you will serve.Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA is the state’s most award-winning hospital for medical care; having received the HealthGrades Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence four years in a row.
