Business Systems Analyst – Core

Riverview Community Bank

This is a Full-time position in Vancouver, WA posted July 19, 2021.

SUMMARY: Responsible for the duties associated with developing, managing, and supporting Finastra Fusion Phoenix core and software that directly interface with the core system.

Provide a full range of professional, technical, and general support to bank personnel by investigating and reconciling escalated questions/concerns with regard to accounts, services, and loans.

Participate with project teams for testing upgrades to Phoenix core and direct interface software, ensure projects are completed on time and follow up as necessary.

Maintain working knowledge of bank policies and procedures.

Understands and communicates all bank products and services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily administration of the Phoenix EFE systems.

Responsible for testing and maintaining documentation for system updates.

Maintaining records of systems maintenance completed and obtaining appropriate authorizations.Perform lead role with the LOAD (core support) team in support of Phoenix EFE.Function as lead liaison between Riverview Community Bank and core vendor.Statement configuration and research, including return and held mail.Assist general operations through contact with branches / departments to identify and resolve problem areas, making recommendations that increase efficiency within the organization.Maintain and provide up to date knowledge and development of standard policies and procedures.Participate and ensure that technical and operational functions for branches and departments are applied, reviewed and maintained through coordination of staff training.Prepare and/or complete various reports and forms accurately to be in compliance with established policies and procedures.Provide customer service and use problem-solving skills to satisfy client.Participate as assigned in special task force groups to assist in developing and bringing new products and technology to the branches/departments. Additional duties and responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.Participates in and completes training objectives with passing scores.

Work independently and efficiently on duties assigned.

– including bank employees and outside vendors.Complete projects as assigned by SupervisorOther duties as assigned RELATIONSHIPSDaily contact with Supervisor for consultation and direction regarding operational activities.Contact with clients and prospective clients in providing assistance to fulfill their banking needs.Frequent contact with business representatives providing sales, service products and equipment. Previous experience in an Operations environment. SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, clients, and the general public.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel.

Ability to understand components of Operational software programsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock in working with standard office equipment.
