Business Systems Analyst

Vidorra is looking to support one of our esteemed customers with AS400 RPG MAPICS XA Business Systems Analyst for iSeries ERP who are available to start ASAP. The position will provide internal support and consulting business units utilizing Infor XA as their main ERP. This position will complement the existing XA systems analysis team, providing XA upgrade, implementation, process development and testing, project management and training services and expertise. Responsibilities Provide internal support and consulting business units utilizing Infor XA as their main ERP. This position will complement the existing XA systems analysis team, providing XA upgrade, implementation, process development and testing, project management and training services and expertise. bullBusiness and Systems Analysis ndash resulting in defined business processes to meet manufacturing and finance requirements through effective and efficient application of the XA system. bullEvaluate current and planned XA features and capabilities and effectively apply them to business processes. bullAssure that business processes are optimized to the needs of the business provide integrated processes across functional responsibilities. bullExperience with electronic electro-mechanical manufacturing in commercial or government is preferred bullMonitor XA database integrity and process disciplines to assure timely and accurate information processing. bullCoordinate process and system test and validation efforts bullDocument programming requirements and specifications, coordinate programming tasks with IT technical staff and assist with software validation testing. bullOne-on-one and classroomweb based user training ndash will develop training material tailored to the process and user community. bullCoordinate efforts through Director, XA Systems Analysis and other internal and external consultants to assure consistent, disciplined process development and deployment of best practices throughout the companyrsquos XA installations. Job Requirements bullMinimum of 3 years hands-on experience with XA in a support or user role ndash preferably in an XA 7.0 or higher manufacturing environment. bullProject management experience and skills ndash ability to prioritize tasks, focus on critical path elements, lead team of users and developers to achieve end goal. bullGood written and verbal communications skills. bullStrong analyticalproblem solving skills required demonstrated ability to dig into problems at detail level and reconcile system anomaliesproblems with supporting datainformation. Understanding of XA databases is required. bullTeam player ndash able to originate and exchange ideas for potential solutions, participate in final approach determination, and follow through consistent with team decisions. bullDomestic travel required potential international travel. bullBA or BS in Mathematics, Science, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience is required. DESIRED EXPERIENCESKILLS bullIn depth experience with one or more ERP integrated business systems implementation experience desirable. bullIn depth knowledge of full suite of XA application strong experience with the IFM financial suite and knowledge of underlying accounting principles and manufacturing costing systems is highly desirable concentrated specialties in contract accounting, material planning and scheduling, or shop floor control are a plus. bullAPICS certified desirable bullIBM Series i support experience including system printing, query, ad hoc reporting and file manipulation capabilities programming background desirable.
