Job SummaryThe Ready-Mix Plant Operator is responsible for loading ready-mix trucks, batch plant and interacting with ready-mix drivers and plant personnel.ResponsibilitiesDaily inspection of plant, loaders and various mobile equipmentAddresses any housekeeping issues within the work areaTroubleshoot plant breakdowns/issuesIdentify mechanical malfunctions with equipmentGrease plantChange lube gear boxes on plantHousekeeping for plantAdjust conveyor belt wipersWork closely with drivers assigned to plantMaintain up to date necessary plant compliance paperwork and any other reports as required by Plant ManagerAssist with tracking of inventories of necessary plant materialsAssist with month end inventory countsEducationHigh school diploma/GEDRequirements/QualificationsMust be able to work varying hours with varying start and stop times due to customer demand and arrive to work as scheduledMust be able to work overtime as required to meet customer demand and as necessary by company needAbility to effectively use a variety of hand toolsAbility to provide a basic set of hand toolsAbility to operate various equipment (i.E.
