– Echocardiography Hours: 8:00 am
– 4:30 pm In this Cardiac Sonographer role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, diagnostic cardiac ultrasound evaluations which include anatomical, physiologic, and pathologic data to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.

Qualifications: Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP)-accredited ultrasound program, and credentialing through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), required.

Training in cardiovascular sonography; and extensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and physics required.

Skill in performing echocardiographic studies in a variety of settings, including at the patient”s bedside, required.

Ability to assist immobile and/or disabled patients Ability to use reasoning and deduction in making medical judgments andto use sound judgement in the face of emergencies Ability to be patient, flexible and maintain a high level of professional behavior required Excellent interpersonal skills required.

30 continuing medical education credits are required every 3 years to maintain ARDMS credential.
