Located near beautiful Juanita Bay Park in the heart of Kirkland, The Gardens at Juanita Bay has been providing quality, meaningful care to seniors since 1977. What do our Caregivers do?
- Assist residents with toileting, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, nail clipping, and dressing
- Read, understand, and follow the resident’s individually designed ADL directives
- Assist in serving meals, leading and attending activities
- Receive and give status report on residents at change of shift
- Provide verbal and physical assistance to residents in transfers/ambulation
- Keep resident rooms in order; provides comfortable, clean, safe environment at all times; dress residents as conditions require
- Ensure assigned residents are provided an opportunity to participate in social, physical, creative, and spiritual activities of their choice
- Schedule appointments and arrange transportation to doctor
- Monitor residents’ medicines
- Answer lights and other calls for assistance promptly and report any possible safety hazards
- Maintain neat and clean work areas
What we’re looking for from you:
- License: Must complete home care aide within 120 days of employment or have active CNA license
- Certification: Must have CPR/First Aid certification within 120 days of employment
- Experience: Previous experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting is not required, but is highly desired!
- Excellent Attitude: An upbeat, fun, outgoing personality and can-do attitude
- Team-work: Work well and collaboratively with team members and external constituents
- Customer Service: Be passionate about providing exceptional service to residents, team members and visitors to our community
