CNC Machinist – Swing Shift

Atlas Staffing is hiring multiple CNC Machinists for full-time, temp-to-hire positions with a great company on a Monday
– Friday schedule!

Objective: In this position you will be studying blueprints, drawings, specs, etc., calculating and setting machine controls, as well as starting and observing the machine to be sure it is operating correctly.

You will be responsible for machining and fabricating various products for multiple clients, utilizing your machining aptitude to follow each project through to completion.

CNC Machinist Minimum Requirements:
2+ years of running CNC Machines Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Experience operating both Mills and Lathes Proficiency reading micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Career-minded
– We are looking for long-term, permanent candidates
CNC Machinist Physical Requirements:
Lift, carry, push and or pull 1
– 50 lbs.

frequently Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently Sit, stand and walk for 1
– 10 hours per day Ability to work in a 55
– 88-degree Fahrenheit work environment Work in a fast-paced industrial environment
Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday
– Friday, 2:45 pm
– 11:30 pm Wage: $16.00
– $27.00/hour DOE
