Customer Experience Specialist

This is a Contract position in Pasco, WA posted May 19, 2021.

Customer Experience Specialist

Responsible for supply chain and product planning for specific customer accounts. Along with throughput planning the Customer Experience Specialist works with customers to expedites orders, track deliveries, resolve shipping errors and to maintain accurate records following established Company guidelines. As the single point of contact for customers the Customer Experience Specialist interacts with them on a regular basis for planning, new product development and problem solving. They must also understand all Supply Chain disciplines including vendor order placement, customer cost savings initiatives, problem resolution and delivery performance for an unlimited range of products and services. 

Duties and responsibilities include

• Forecasting and demand planning of high-volume customer specific products. 

• Placing POs with external suppliers and Work Orders with internal production. 

• Maintaining inventory levels based on established KPIs. 

• Working directly with customers on inventory needs. 

• Working directly with customers/vendors on new product development and launch. 

• Communicating clearly with customers and outside sales on planning inventory levels for adds and promotions as well as for special order status.  

• Cooperation with outside sales and customers on miscellaneous projects and initiatives.  

• Ability and knowledge to create customer quotes.  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge, skills and abilities generally acquired through formal education pursuant of a higher education degree in Business or Supply Chain Management. 

• Working knowledge of Supply Chain KPIs, understands margins, inventory turns, costs, profit and loss, etc. 

• Strong Analytical Skills. 

• High energy and sense of urgency to meet internal and external customer expectations. 

• Highly motivated; possesses the desire to set and meet high performance standards based on excellence for the benefit of the customer, the individual, team members and internal customers. 

• Maintains professional appearance and ethical conduct. 

• Has general working knowledge of the process and procedures that relate to the sales department’s “internal customers”. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Team oriented and a passion for excellence. 

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook especially related to personal time management.
