Data Analyst

South Puget Intertribal Planning Agency

This is a Contract position in Shelton, WA posted November 11, 2020.

Position Summary

The Healthy Families Data Analyst, under the direct supervision of the Family Support Programs Manager works as a team member of the Healthy Families Program. This position is the primary data and evaluation coordinator for the Tribal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (Healthy Families) Program.

Responsibilities

Tribal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program Data and Evaluation Coordinator

Advocate with national evaluation team to ensure evaluation, collection system and dissemination plan is culturally inclusive.
Coordinate and trouble shoot data collection to ensure data is timely and accurate.
Provide support for training home visitors on strategies for collecting data, time frames and data use in a culturally sensitive manner.
Provide real time examples of data use collected at the family and program levels.
Act as primary interface to case management system technical support team to ensure they are aware of program needs.
Develop and distribute monthly quality assurance and management dashboards.
Develop custom reports and data points from case management systems for quality assurance and federal reporting as required or needed.

Data Coordination and System Development

Data Collection Quality Assurance
Support data security, integrity and consistency of data sets, verify information regarding data quality and data completeness.
Ensure proposal measurements and data collection methods meet SMART objectives as required by funder.

Planning and Reporting

Assist in planning projects and providing data relevant to funding opportunities for Healthy Families Program.Summarize and provide graphic (charts, etc.) or written presentation of requested data for member Tribes, SPIPA Board, the Executive Team and external stakeholders.

Other duties as assigned

The Healthy Families Data Analyst, as an employee of the South Puget Intertribal Planning Agency, is expected to collaborate, engage, and work closely with all SPIPA programs to fully support the agency’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values in accordance with all agency directives.
