The role will provide input on the logical and physical architecture of our Data Warehouse and discover efficient ways to organize, store and analyze data, all with attention to security and confidentiality. This role will lead a team of highly skilled SQL-ETL developers and Data Warehouse and Power BI administrators. The Candidate must have expert knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing techniques, excellent troubleshooting skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to lead a team of technical people to work collaboratively with members of the technology, business and vendor solution teams to design and develop integrated solutions to fulfill the data analytic needs of the business. The goal is to ensure that information flows timely and securely to and from the organization as well as within.This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our eight state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WA, or WY.The entry rate for this position is $88,671.32 per year (calculated for Missoula, MT). All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.Duties and Responsibilities1. Data Managementa. Creating and enforcing policies for effective data managementb. Formulating management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of datac. Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspectsd. Design data storage solutions for the organization and overseeing the loading of data into the systeme. Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades, etc.)f. Lead the team in the improvement of existing tools and processes and the acquisition of new tools and processes to meet the needs of the business.g. Ensure the data warehouse and ETL code and processes are protected from security breaches and data lossh. Responsible for the development and implementation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and oversee the implementation of RDBMS, ODS, data marts, data lakes, etc. on target platforms.i. Responsible for the design and implementation of effective data models and database solutions to store and retrieve company data for operational and analytic purposes.j. Work with the business lines to define strategic directions and ensure data strategies and capabilities align with and support the strategic direction of the business lines.k. Work with business lines to identify data requirements, implement data strategies, develop conceptual/logical/physical data models, and design and build dataflows.l. Oversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture and the optimization of data query performance.m. Collaborate with analytics and risk teams on (meta-) data governance and (meta-) data management and design efforts.n. Document models and prepare accurate database design and architecture reports and documentation for stakeholders, management, and executive teams.2. Service Delivery and Project Supporta.
