Job Description
As a Delivery Driver or Delivery Helper, you will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve – delivering smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more. Delivery Drivers will drive an Amazon-branded, DOT-regulated vehicle, delivering packages to customers. Delivery Helpers ride alongside the driver and assist with the delivery of heavy and bulky items (more than 70 lbs.). You can expect to work 4-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day

· Must be 18 + and pass a motor vehicle record check and drug test + a DOT physical for some positions
· Pay ranges from $16.50-$23/hour plus incentives and pay raises based on performance
· The work day starts at 5:00AM
· No delivery driving experience required, we train on the job
· Overtime offered during busy season (not required)

What does a Driver Helper do?
· Work as a Team to deliver packages.
· Follow delivery instructions, as well as rules and safety practices.
· Conduct inspection of vehicle before departing to deliver packages.
· Load packages onto cargo vans according to company’s specifications.
· Deliver packages to customers on assigned routes.
· Maintain on-going communication with Team Lead and Dispatcher.
· Use a hand-held smart-phone device to deliver packages (provided).

Skills and requirements:
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
· Successfully pass a motor vehicle record check and drug test + a DOT physical for some positions
· Must possess a positive, energetic, and professional attitude.
· Valid Driver’s License.
· 100% Reliable: Report to Work on Time.
· Exceptional Team Player.
· Customer Focused.
· Ability to team lift and deliver 50lb -250lb items
· Strong customer service skills.

Work schedule:
· Start time: 5a.m.
· Weekly paycheck.
· Schedule: 4-5 days a week
· Overtime after 40 hours (time and a half).

Salary:
· Salary: Starts at $16.50/hour and work towards a driver position.
