Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated Project Director to provide leadership and drive quality process as part of our collaborative team in Renton, WA.

The Project Director will ensure the client’s mission core values are incorporated into daily operational activities and services to deliver all contracted City services in a manner that meets or exceeds the expectations of the City and the Company.

In this role you’ll:
Lead a staff of professional, technical and administrative staff to fulfill the mission of providing a full-range of operations, maintenance, and capital project services in a safe and productive manner Research new technologies and trends and make recommendations around the implementation of programs and equipment to drive optimization and efficiencies
• Meet all contractual and regulatory requirements for the project Schedule and plan activities including coordination with key stakeholders (internal and external) and coordination with other groups as needed Direct the development and administration of capital planning as well as large, complex project planning and budgets Implement an Asset Management Program that includes preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, capital improvements Ensure a robust Health & Safety culture is always in place Be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the project including, Health & Safety, environmental compliance, employee engagement, client satisfaction and financial performance Provide leadership and management for all personnel functions including staffing, recruiting, compensation, training and development, objective setting and management, progressive discipline, rewards and recognition and termination in accordance with company policies Review monthly contract service reports for each installation, advising management as to project status, regulatory agency permit compliance, and technical/plant management attitudes

Here’s What You’ll Need:
High School diploma and 15 years of experience managing or supervising diverse teams delivering operations and maintenance of infrastructure assets including water or wastewater facilities Experience using DMS and CMMS Ability to conduct presentations to large groups Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel 25% of the time Possess a valid driver’s license
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Bachelor’s degree Washington State Waterworks Operator WTPO 4 or equivalent Excellent knowledge of project finance, variance reporting and budgetary process Self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, and strong data analysis & technical problem-solving skills Advanced interpersonal skills and personnel management skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain credibility across all levels of the organization Experience with project management tools such as MS Project Knowledge and understanding of key principals in operating and maintaining treatment, distribution and collection systems
