Drummers – All Shifts

The shifts are:

DAY SHIFT 7 AM – 3 PM – 2 OPENINGS

SWING SHIFT 3 PM – 11 PM – 3 OPENINGS

GRAVE SHIFT 11 PM- 7 AM – 3 OPENINGS

Job Summary:

Efficiently operate the mash on drum dryers in the Dehydrated Potato Flake-Flour process to insure all products that are produced in a Food Safety manner and follow specification guidelines in accordance with all Washington Potato Company rules and policies.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential

Follow Food Safety, Quality, Personal Safety, and any other Washington Potato Company’s Policy.
Will work on Dehydrated Flake and Flour process ensuring that drums run sufficient and to the requirements of Washington Potato Company production and quality expectations.
Insure product meets specification and operation standard.
Notify management of any production, safety, quality or environment concerns within the facility.
Constantly monitor equipment operations to ensure equipment is being utilized efficiently.
Minimize waste and maximize production efficiencies within these areas.
Create and maintain a teamwork environment within the production facility.
Review and report to the Shift Supervisor and/or Line Lead any improvements and/or changes needed in the processing areas.
Satisfactorily meet attendance standards.
Encourage open expression of ideas and opinions from all team members.
Maintain good personal hygiene, follow GMP’s and maintain a clean, safe and sanitary workplace. Immediately report any situation that may cause product to be contaminated or compromised.
Comply with plant security by ensuring that doors are locked and closed behind you. Report any suspicious activities to your Supervisor immediately. Enter only through the main employee entrance area or other controlled entrances.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Essential

Able to lift 50 lbs frequently during shift
Must be able to work effectively and safely in a wet and hot/cold environment

Additional

Must be flexible in work tasks and schedules.
Demonstrate excellent work habits and knowledge of responsibilities.
Must be able to work ANY Shift to meet production demands.
Must be able to work all days of the week. Days off vary.
Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
