Field Examiner/Collateral Examiner

This is a Full-time position in Seattle, WA posted March 6, 2021.

nnTurning Point is a financial consulting firm based in Seattle, Washington, that is looking for a Field Examiner to help grow our Collateral Examination business with commercial lenders.nn nnThe candidate we are looking for must be dynamic, fast learning, and be willing to jump into any task to support the company to continue to be an industry leader.nn nn n nn nn  Essential Job Functions: nn Understand and perform the ABL functions associated with accounting and review of the examination assignment; Plan, direct, control and fulfill the examination assignment requirements as required per credit parameters and lender; Ability to provide industry specific recommendations to the borrowing base structure; Prepare clear and concise high level written exam reports, highlighting areas of risk and exposure for Credit Administration and underwriting; Review loan documentation pertaining to asset-based line of credit as it relates to the assigned collateral; All employees are responsible for internal controls in the performance of their assigned duties.

Internal Control responsibilities are established in various policies, procedures, and documents, including the Code of Conduct.

nn n nn nn Minimum Job Requirements: nn Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance preferred; 3+ years of related experience; Prior asset-based lending experience required; Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.); Strong written and verbal communication skills; Keep the lender, company and department aware of the progress of an assignment at all time; Stay within the parameters established for the assignment; Strong research and data gathering skills; Demonstrated working knowledge of loan documentation and collateral regulations; Time management skills; Ability to work effectively as part of a team; nn nn
