Floor Crew Where: Bangor, Washington Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt Wage: $19.46/hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) and a robust wellness program Work Schedule: Shift can vary but typical hours are swing shift, 2:45-11:15pm Skookum is seeking a dedicated and reliable Floor Crew Team Member with a positive attitude. This individual will be responsible for general floor cleaning services for Bangor Naval Base facilities. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Safely operate floor care machines to include powered pressure washer on various structures (e.g., sidewalks, streets, parking lots, etc.). Construction clean-up, to include cleaning up dust and debris during or after construction projects. Perform floor care work such as mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet shampooing, and vacuuming. Safely use and maintain basic personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety glasses, safety toe boots, hearing protection, and gloves. Qualifications: Six (6) months’ experience is preferred but not required. Specialized vocational, technical, or other formal training may be substituted in part for experience. Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Requirements: Must be available to work all shifts including day, swing, grave, or on-call. Valid State Driver’s license required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum’s insurance company. Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances as background checks will be conducted for this position.
