The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation and audit. At times, the Full Charge Bookkeeper might also be asked to oversee the clerical staff. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Black Diamond, Washington area. Location: Black Diamond, WA Title: Full Charge Bookkeeper Salary: DOE and Benefits Major responsibilities – Maintain sales tax records and creates and files quarterly payments – Business license and gross receipts summarizing – Other distinguished projects when necessary – Organize cash flow projections, as needed – Execute cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc. – Guide monthly accounting close – Skilled in credit card management and reconciliation – File budget transfers – Accounts Receivable – Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents – Assemble subcontractor 1099’s, and any other IRS year-end requirement – Sustain Accounts Payable Job Requirements: – High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills – Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity – Microsoft Excel experience – BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred – Ability to meet deadlines – Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills – Progressive accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred – Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills – Strong time management and organizational skills – Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities Robert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled professionals with remote or on-site jobs in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
