This is a Full-time position in Anacortes, WA posted June 24, 2021.

Job Title: IT Business Analyst/DeveloperDepartment: didgʷálič Wellness CenterSummary: The didgʷálič Wellness Center is seeking a highly motivated IT Business Analyst/Developer to focus on improving and supporting the organization’s health information systems.

Additionally, this position will be responsible for creating and maintaining the didgʷálič website and intranet, along with other content management systems.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of IT Business Analyst/DeveloperIT Business Analysis/Health InformaticsLearn and understand organizational workflows in order to document current state workflows.Interview organizational users and leaders to document users and system requirements.Design and document future state workflows that when implemented will result in operational efficiencies and quality improvements.Manage technical projects.Facilitate stakeholder meetings.Acts as a technical resource to help resolve service desk requests for in-house systems as well as deployed vendor systems.Assists in the planning, design, research, and acquisition of new or upgraded software systems.Assist with the documentation of user guides and knowledgebase articles.Web Development and Content ManagementDevelop and maintain web applications.Create and maintain system source code.Based on user requirements and functional design develop user interface mock-ups and proposed system process flows.Team with others to implements and maintain the content management systems, the organizational external website and intranet site.Performs other duties as assigned by the IT Director.Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration and/or any Information Management Systems related degree.A combination of industry experience and education may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree for the right candidate.Minimum one year of experience developing web-based applications.Experience working in a healthcare environment highly desired but not required.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Detail oriented and able to create clear and maintainable documentation for a variety of business systems and user workflows.Extremely capable communicator who is clear, concise and adapts communication styles to stakeholder needs.Ability to build successful stakeholder relationships to partner in building systems that meet operational user needs.Knowledgeable of current web development best practices including use of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems is required.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy of work.Outstanding organizational and time management skills.Experience managing small to medium sized projects in an IT environmentAbility to work well with others.

Demonstrated ability to interact positively with teammates and all assigned enterprises.Ability to work in a multi-culture environment, understands the social and cultural context of the patients at the didgʷálič Wellness Center.

Understands the role of trauma, historical, community, family, and personal experience in wellness and recovery.Understands and adheres to state (RCW, WAC) and federal confidentiality regulations (42 CFR part 2).
