Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking a System Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) Team Lead in the Puget Sound area in support of multiple space programs.

You will have an opportunity to work with an experienced, interdisciplinary team to develop unique systems to meet challenging requirements on dynamic development programs.The AIT Lead provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.Boeing creates the next generation products and services for the Boeing Defense, Space & Security business.

We work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space.

Our team focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers.

Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.Responsibilities:* Lead a team of multi-disciplined engineers and technicians in the planning and execution of the AIT campaign* Work closely with other disciplines in an integrated team environment to execute AIT activities* Coordinate within the AIT Integrated Product Team (IPT), and with other program IPTs, program & executive management, Boeing Test & Evaluation support and facility resources, Boeing Research & Technology support, customers, and suppliers* Control Account Manager for multiple accounts: develop and maintain AIT schedule and budget, track Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, communicate schedule and budget status to program leadership* Optimize and lead the execution of AIT process flows* Coordinate preparation and execution of Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR) and follow on reviews; present to program leadership and customer* Provide technical expertise and oversight to AIT team in requirements verification, AIT planning, execution, and documentation* Ensure AIT team has appropriate resources to execute AIT campaign* Identify product non-conformances to requirements, and lead investigations into root causes of the non-conformances including recommendations on corrective actions as necessary; report status to program leadershipThis position requires an active Top Secret U.S.

Security Clearance, for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S.

Citizenship.

Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):* Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry* Current and active Top Secret Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):* Current and active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI access* Demonstrated strong communication and leadership skills* Experience conducting assembly, integration, and test of air or space platforms* Technical subject matter expertise in space subsystems and systems* Experience on rapid development programs* Experience in successfully delivering flight hardware to customers* Experience with environmental testingTypical Education/Experience:* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education resulting in a Bachelors degree in an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, with 14 or more years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD degree with 9 years related work experience; Masters degree with 12 years related work experience).
