Summer intern assignments at WEX are facilitated from May to August.As an intern, you will be challenged and offered the opportunity to make an impact across the business and be involved in the company’s most critical business decisions.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THIS ROLE:Our team is looking for a full-time summer intern to support a new internal initiative to enhance WEX’s corporate culture and programming.

This intern will be responsible for internal event coordination and execution.YOU WILL BE:
– Responsible for end-to-end coordination of at least two corporate events per month
– Gathering input from a variety of stakeholders across the lines of business and WEX offices & geographies
– Collaborate with the Internal Communications team and other departments to identify stories, reporting and developing them into compelling narratives for our internal employee website
– Draft mass communications and update internal communication websites
– Build post-event survey and analyzing responses and trends
– Create presentations and communicating results to senior leaders to influence program strategy
– Create social media content with measurable results and outcomes in mindYOU WILL:
– Actively lead internal projects that deliver strategic value and recommendations to WEX leadership
– Provide analytical rigor and bring strategic vision to key initiatives
– Nurture deep, trusted partnerships with your project teams
– Understand how your job is key to support the wider WEX’s organization
– Conduct industry research to understand how other organizations are shaping and driving corporate culture programs
