Janitorial / Clean Up Crew

An Everett company is looking to add a Janitorial Cleaner on board. This position is crucial as responsibilities include keeping the industrial mill clean and ready for production. This is a long-term, evaluation to hire position with plenty of opportunities for growth. Janitorial Clean-UpLocation: Everett, WARate of Pay: $16.00 per hour to start- pay increases after the probationary period and is based on performanceSchedule: Train for two weeks on a split-shift: Monday-Friday: 11:00am-7:30pm, then regular hours will be Monday-Friday: 3:00pm-11:30pm Duties include, but are not limited to:-Cleaning work areas in and around sawmill using hand tools such as an aluminum shovel, metal rake, wheelbarrow, pitchforks, broom, and air hose-Pick up, sort, and remove debris from floor and areas surrounding machines in the sawmill-Place sawdust, chips, and small pieces of boards into a wheelbarrow and take them out to pile for others to remove-May occasionally operate a small tractor with a front scoop to drag larger piles outside-Work on the ground floor and second level in a sawmill that is approximately in 1-2 acre area-Manual clean-up of fallen pieces of lumber off conveyor chains and sawdust from cutting wet logs How to be successful:-Knowledgeable in the use of a variety of hand tools, power tools-Be comfortable standing on your feet for the entire shift-Lift up to 50 pounds-Comfortable working outdoors-Work independently and as a team-Work overtime as needed-Effectively communicate with others Benefits, Perks, and more:-This company offers medical, dental, vision benefits-401K-Vacation and sick pay-Holiday parties-Pay raises after the evaluation period Interested?
