Working as part of our Backshop Machining Team, you will load, set up run and unload machines. 1.Set up different types of production equipment. 2.Makes setups on repeat jobs with existing programs. 3.Loads, unloads, deburrs and does all inspection of any run in the cell. 4.Moves offsets and performs simple editing on the control. 5.Does simple editing at the discretion of the supervisor. 6.Actively participates in High Performance Teams and company-sponsored training programs. 7.Completes additional duties and projects as assigned. Ability to read blue prints, production packets and comprehend machine coordinates. Ability to follow verbal and visual instructions and complete routine tasks that may be repetitive in nature. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; twist or bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee frequently is required to walk, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
