Millwright-Journey Level

Hampton Lumber-Randle Division

This is a Contract position in Randle, WA posted October 29, 2020.

Overview

The position of Journey Level Millwright repairs, maintains, and operates (on occasion) all the equipment within a work center. This includes taking full ownership to complete work on-time and correctly. Work schedule: Thursday-Sunday, Relief Shift (5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, flexible as needed). Wage starts at $32.30 per hour plus shift differential. ($67,184 per year before any overtime, shift differential, and production bonuses). Production Bonuses are possible for every employee each month, based on the plant site’s target goals.

Responsibilities

Practice safe work habits & comply with all company work & safety standards.
Have a thorough working knowledge of mechanical operations used in the industry.
Able to maintain, install, repair, and troubleshoot all systems, equipment, and facilities.
Able to operate all facility equipment to the degree needed for troubleshooting and testing.
Assist production personnel to maintain the flow of product.
Willing to attend any training necessary to upgrade performance.
Willing to train any employees as assigned by supervisor.
Willing to work overtime as necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3-years experience as a Journey Level Industrial Millwright and/or 5-years of experience in Industrial Maintenance/Fabrication is required.
State classification as a Journeyman Millwright is preferred but not required.
Must hold and maintain current Hampton PIT authorization.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
