Junior Mortgage Loan OfficerQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field preferred1 or more years of experience in residential mortgage origination in a sales or support role with current or prior demonstrated external sales aptitudeWhat you’ll doAs a Junior Mortgage Loan Officer for Banner Bank, you will have the opportunity to:Originate real estate loans from various sources, including but not limited to, Realtor business developed through a structured outside calling program, contractors (both those doing business with Banner Bank and others), referrals from branch personnel, general public through normal business relationships, walk in and call in customersProvide financing sheets for listings and Realtor/builder open houses and attend weekend open houses and/or subdivisions for loan solicitation purposesAttend Realtor Association and Builder Association meetingsSet up loans in the bank’s computer system following origination and process through to submission for underwritingAttend closing signing appointments, as requestedParticipate in internal training sessions, sales meetings, and external training opportunities as requiredTake applications and/or meet with clients at other Banner Bank branch locationsComply with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulationsWho you’ll work withYou will be part of our mortgage lending team, responsible for attracting and making real estate loans which meet Bank standards for economic value and safety to contribute to the long term profitability of the Bank’s operations under the tutelage of a sponsor Banner Bank MLO.What Banner offersMonthly guarantee and excellent commission structureComprehensive employee benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, health and dependent daycare funds, life and disability protection.
