Our associates gain valuable experience here while meeting guests and coworkers from around the world, and in their free time they have a magical world of pristine mountain meadows, majestic waterfalls, peaceful old-growth forests, and much more to explore! Throughout the season we have regularly scheduled activities and day trips with transportation provided for associates, including trips to nearby adventures or cities like Seattle to visit Pike Place or catch a Mariners game! Employees with vehicles are only a short 2 hour trip away from exploring many destinations like Portland and Seattle on their own.Because of our unique location, room and board are provided to associates who do not live in one of our surrounding communities at a very low-cost via payroll deduction. Laundry facilities are provided at each dorm unit at no cost to employees. Employee meals are served in Employee Dining Rooms. We can also accommodate a limited number of RV units. If so, we want to hear from you!PARADISE- NIGHT AUDITORJOB DESCRIPTIONTheNight Auditor provides excellent overnight service at the hotel front desk,performing all relevant night audit functions including cash reports,reconciliation, verifying accuracy of credit cards, bookkeeping, end of dayaccounting duties for the hotel.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSVerify readings, over-rings, credit cards, checks, guest folios, audit daily guest ledger of the hotel to verify and balance entries. Investigate and correct any discrepancies.Check daily cash reports for completeness and accuracy. Create daily deposit and ensure correct starting cash amount at the front desk for the morning.Update reservations system with occupancy of guests as they come as they check in and out. Manage walk-in traffic. Sign in guests as needed. Smile and greet guests in a welcoming manner.Provide administrative, reception and program support to management and staff.Accurately complete required night audit reports on a nightly basis.Manage phone activity including providing general knowledge to callers.Smile and great guests in a welcoming manner.Act as front desk attendant during the night hours, register and assign rooms to guests, provide quote for room rates and up-sell the guest when possible, and ensuring guests are satisfied with service requests.Resolve guest concerns and complaints within scope of authority; refer to management as appropriate.Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them immediately to your manager.Performs such other related duties as directed or required.SKILL ANDKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDEHigh School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Basic accounting skills.Clerical skills including typing, filing, office machine operations, cash register operation, maintenance of records, and the ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously.Computer proficiency.Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people; ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to learn and develop new skills; ability to problem solve.Ability to arrange and coordinate schedules for reservations.Excellent interpersonal, administrative, telephone and other communications skills.Physical and MentalRequirementsMoving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from placeTo view the full job description, click here
