Patient Services Coordinator – Women and Infants Outpatient Services

**Description:****Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator (Per Diem, Day Shift) to work in the Lytle Center, Women and Infants Outpatient Services at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.**_We are seeking a detail focused, caring, and thoughtful individual to complete patient services coordination while promoting the goals and upholding the ideals of Swedish Medical Center in providing excellent care and experience for our diverse patient population.

The Patient Services Coordinator is a member of the Women and Infants Outpatient Services team and is responsible for day to day functions of the Swedish Birth and Family Education Program and the Swedish Breastfeeding Center’s pump rental program and associated retail._**In this position you will:**+ Answers Birth and Family Education and Breast Pump Rental phone line within 3 rings, unless otherwise engaged.+ Registers clients for classes in the Birth and Family Education program via online registration, phone and walk-in.+ Prepares and distributes daily class rosters to instructors.+ Prepares and records outgoing phone message indicating daily classes, times and locations by 9am.+ Ensures that all voice mail messages are returned the same day or the next morning if left after 3pm or over the weekend.**Qualifications:****Required** **qualifications for this position include:**+ High school education or GED equivalent+ Two (2) years experience in an office setting using computers**Preferred** **qualifications for this position include:**+ College experience+ Experience interacting with hospital patients+ Breastfeeding experience useful**About the First Hill Campus.**The 697-bed tertiary-care center on the Swedish/First Hill campus is the flagship of the Swedish health-care system.
