Per Diem Program Coord Acute Rehab Unit (Aru) -Rn

EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced Acute Care Rehab (ARU) Registered Nurse to join the ARU Team.Job Summary: The Program Coordinator is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team on the Acute Rehabilitation Unit.

This program coordinator does overall census development with direct marketing within the Evergreen Healthcare system and community areas based on the management of referral information, direct patient/family assessment, coordination of admissions, referral source marketing and business development as a community liaison.

This Program Coordinator is responsible for assuring insurance coverage by verifying and obtaining admission pre-authorizations, continual case management of patient goals and outcomes within effective and appropriate time frames and ensuring that payer/regulatory conditions are met while data management and clerical support tasks are performed.Primary Duties:Responsible for the admission/intake process for the unit.In conjunction with the interdisciplinary team, facilitates progress and recommends appropriate clinical interventions to nursing, therapy, and physicians.Manages systems to insure timely reporting of business and financial data.

Prepares and coordinates the preparation of IRF-PAIs (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument), statistical, and other data.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications License, Certification, Education or Experience:REQUIRED for the position:Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of employment if applicable.Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington2 years of nursing experienceCurrent Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hireKnowledge of Medicare and other insurance payer contract requirements.DESIRED for the position:Masters degree in NursingProgressive experience in clinical rehabilitation nursingCRRN certificationPI
