Atlas Staffing is looking for a powder coater for a reputable client in Yakima, WA If you are a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.

You must be able to work overtime and have good attendance.

You must also be able to read and interpret blueprints, and demonstrate knowledge of good manufacturing practice.

Pay: $14 to start with a raise and benefits after 90 days Shift: Swing This position will rotate between powder coating and assembly as needed.

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for applying products with powder paint, while using a manual spray gun and automated coating system, ensuring high quality finishes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Read job orders and inspect work pieces to determine work procedures and materials required.

Load parts to be powder coated to paint line.

Use spray gun to evenly distribute powder coat onto parts.

Examine finished surfaces of work pieces to verify conformance to specifications; then retouch any defective areas.

Other duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor and management.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum High School or equivalent.

Powder coating experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Constantly stand and/or walk.

Constantly work in extreme environment, with proper PPE.

Must have hand/eye coordination with good hand dexterity; fingers need to be able to make small movements such as picking up small to large parts.
