n nn Role and Responsibilities nn nn The Practice Ambassador will answer telephones, schedule appointments, collect patient financial responsibility and prepare patient charts.

· Provides concierge level customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members over the phone, in person, or via electronic communication nn nn
· Answers the phone promptly with a smile nn nn
· Schedules appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time and most effective use of exam and treatment rooms nn nn
· Prepares a daily schedule for each provider nn nn
· Prepares patient charts nn nn
· Manages patient flow to reduce patient wait time nn nn
· Assists patients as necessary nn nn
· Maintains professional relationship with referring offices nn nn
· Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA nn nn
· When needed, g reets patients and visitors immediately upon arrival with a friendly demeanor nn nn
· Understanding of dental terminology is necessary nn nn
· Performs other related duties as assigned nn nn Qualifications and Education Requirements nn nn
· Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required nn nn
· High school diploma or equivalent required nn nn Preferred Skills nn nn
· Friendly, inviting and professional personality and presence nn nn
· Basic office skills such as typing and filing nn nn
