* DutiesHelpDutiesSummaryYou will serve as a PRODUCTION SHOP PLANNER (GENERAL) in the DEPARTMENT OF NAVY to include work sites of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Trident Refit Facility (TRF-KB),TRF Bangor, and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.Applicants will only be considered for positions within their own UIC. You will be subject to random testing.* Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You may be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.QualificationsAlthough a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
