You choose the way your retention bonus is paid out: Quarterly for the 1st year ($450.00 per quarter) or $150.00 monthly towards childcare expenses for the 1st year Rockwood South Hill is looking for compassionate and caring Nursing Assistants who have at least one year experience in a Long Term Care setting and are interested in making a difference in the lives of our residents in our healthcare unit.

A typical day may include helping residents to meals and activities, checking blood pressure and other vitals, assisting with activities of daily living such as dressing, toileting, nail and oral care.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to : ADL’s (activities of daily living such as dressing, toileting, nail and oral care) Assists with feeding of residents.

Measuring and recording intake and output.

Weigh residents.

Assists in turning and positioning of residents.

Proper transfer techniques.

Protects organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.

Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment.

Helps keep residents rooms clean and supplied.
