Summary
Operate and maintain combine equipment, used to harvest crops safely and effectively. Ensure equipment is in good working condition and adheres to all applicable safety rules.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Combine equipment in a safe and efficient manner to harvest crops and move them to the transportation equipment without damage to equipment or the crop.
Operate equipment efficiently with utmost concern for safety of self and other employees, equipment and crops.
Maintain equipment; grease and check hydraulic fluids and all moving parts daily.
Clean both the interior (cabs) and the exterior of equipment daily.
Inspect for faulty or worn parts.
Follow all applicable safety procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Relevant Experience
1+ years related experience and/or training
Other Information
Current Driver’s License required.
Able to operate equipment and use tools in a skilled and safe manner.
Able to communicate with other workers and management; bilingual skills preferred.
Able to work alone or in a team environment.
Able to work safely around equipment and other people.
