Aerojet Rocketdyne is currently seeking a Schedule Integrator to join our team in Redmond, WA. We are looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated, and organized individual. Candidates will work in a dynamic position with a diverse product range.

This position can be filled at this level as posted or one level higher.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

Working under limited general direction:

30% – Support Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP), Program Proposals, and utilize effective business processes that allow schedules to be vertically and horizontally integrated across all COEs. Support Rough Cut Capacity activity, Schedule Risk Analysis, Integrated Master Schedules, and Integrated Master Plans. Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, Earned Value metrics, and other program management techniques to gauge program health. Identify and resolve gaps in program planning and execution in a matrix style organization.

30% – Integrate the master program plan and master schedule allowing the program execution to meet the program objectives. Monitor and contribute to the program onboarding process to translate the Program’s Statement of Work into an achievable Production Plan. Coordinate gap identification and resolution by using in-depth working knowledge, internal support network, and analysis of data from multiple systems with minimal direction.

20% – Coordinate teams to ensure major program objectives and program schedules are achievable by vertically and horizontally integrating with COEs such as Finance, Engineering, Planning, Operations, and Quality. Serve as subject matter expert on use of Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning such as Bill of Material (BOM), Pre-BOMs, Routings, MRP constrained and unconstrained plans, Master Demand Schedule management, and Master Production Schedule management. Coordinate teams to schedule Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) activities, Production Support Items, and Staffing Plans.

20% – Manage ad-hoc projects elected by the organization with minimal supervision. Serve as spokesperson for organization on sound scheduling practices for both program and production scheduling. Recommend short and long term organizational improvements using sound LEAN thinking. As prime contact for organization, regularly interact with internal and external senior management.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline (Supply Chain Management, Business Management/Administration, Operations Management or Engineering preferred) and Ten (10) years of experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function/cross-site teams.
  • Operations, Procurement, Scheduling and Engineering Value Stream experience, or demonstrated willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to learn Material Requirements Planning (MRP) & Manufacturing Execution System (MES) (Delmia, ASCP, Oracle Enterprise Business Suite, MS Office).

We value:

  • Prior Oracle/Delmia/Windchill Experience.
  • American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certification.
  • Demonstrated Lean Experience or Certification.

Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
