Systems Administrator – Cloud (Senior Level)

Duties We are seeking a senior system administrator to support DRSrsquo cloud enterprise infrastructure. In this position, you will plan, analyze, install, maintain, troubleshoot and resolve problems related to DRS’ infrastructure which supports critical systems. These systems include Active Directory, the Electronic Document Imaging System (EDIMS), SharePoint, SQL databases, Microsoft System Center Suite, public facing web applications and many other systems. In this position you will lead the planning, implementation, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of the Microsoft Azure cloud hosted systems and services along with taking a vital role in the creation of DRSrsquo cloud strategy and ongoing cloud governance. In addition to these tasks, you will responsible for the security of the infrastructure, ensuring that DRS and its customerrsquos information remains protected. Your duties will include Lead technician for the planning, migrating and administering of the Microsoft Azure cloud hosted systems and services Assess, develop, implement and maintain cloud, network and server security to established standards in accordance with DRS and the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) policies and standards Primary technician for the administration and support of all resident, cloud and co-located server-based systems Build and maintain Disaster Recovery capability for all Microsoft Azure cloud hosted infrastructure and services Desirable qualifications Bachelors or Associates degree in Information Technology from an accredited college or university Minimum of 4 years experience supporting cloud systems and services (Microsoft Azure experience preferred) Four years of information technology experience such as consulting, analyzing, designing, installing andor maintaining computer software applications and hardware providing customer or technical support in information technology Microsoft Azure IT certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator Minimum one year experience maintaining an Active Directory environment using Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or higher Minimum one year experience configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft software products such as the System Center Suite, Office, SharePoint, etc. and utilizing remote deployment tools for desktop application installation
