– Verathon® nn nn n nn nn Verathon® has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Ultrasound Engineer to become the newest member of our Research & Development team located in our Bothell, WA headquarters.

The Senior Ultrasound Engineer leads architecture and design of the signal path for ultrasound-based imaging products and platforms.

Interfacing cross-functionally with new product development teams, this engineer also works closely with marketing and clinical product specialists to define, drive, and deliver innovative features including probes and imaging solutions.nn nn n nn nn Principal Responsibilities: nn Develop and implement new signal path architecture and algorithms Contribute to product definition, feature development, and system design Study customer workflows and engage with clinical product specialists to create optimized solutions for clinical applications Define, lead, and execute technical research projects Design experiments, analyze data, and recommend enhancements to imaging system Work across engineering disciplines and development teams to facilitate design and implementation of next generation products Develop and execute schedules for feature and signal path design elements Develop imaging modes and techniques for integration of new ultrasound transducers nn n nn nn Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: nn MS in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics or related degree Ph.D.

Preferred 6+ years relevant industry experience, 3 years medical ultrasound imaging experience Expertise in ultrasound physics and system design, ultrasound clinical optimization, algorithm specification and development, signal and image processing and analysis, transducer technology and simulation software Medical device industry experience in product development from conception to release Demonstrated experience using in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ Strong analytical skills; strategic thinker Excellent written and oral communication skills nn n nn nn About Verathon: nn nnVerathon is a global medical device company focused on supporting customers by being their trusted partner, delivering high-quality products that endure over time and ensure clinical and economic utility.
