Intune is a multi-platform solution (Windows, iOS, and Android), integrates with key cloud services at Microsoft, and is built on some of the latest Azure technologies._What we’re looking for:_Intune Reliability and Data Engineering is looking for a motivated Site Reliability Engineer to join the Monitoring and Data Team to help create and administer our live site monitoring infrastructure.

We are the team responsible for ensuring the reliability of Intune’s telemetry infrastructure which handles petabytes of diagnostic telemetry per day.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building tools to automate and streamline our processes; upgrading, deploying and operating our team’s infrastructure; and helping to respond to live site issues.

This is a highly collaborative role in which you will work closely with feature teams across Intune to improve monitoring maturity and implement best practices.**Responsibilities**+ Partner with engineering feature teams to provide guidance and best practices around monitoring and observability of our production systems, infrastructure, and software+ Promote innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization.+ Improve operational efficiency through automation and development of new tools+ Contribute technical troubleshooting guides (TSGs) to our Live Site playbook.+ Identify blocking issues and resolve them in a timely manner.

Analyze errors and logs, and apply corrective actions.

Locate and work with Azure component teams and Intune feature teams and work with them to resolve issues within SLA+ Participate in on-call incident management rotation supporting engineering team live site investigations.+ Contribute to a healthy, dynamic, and inclusive team culture.**Qualifications**_General qualifications_ :+ BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent years of additional industry experience in lieu of degree)+ 3+ years of professional site reliability engineering or live site operations experience running large scale services in a public cloud+ Strong written and verbal communication skills+ Solid debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills+ Ability to automate routine tasks+ 1+ years of software development experience using C#, Java, C++, C or other programming languages+ Working knowledge of one or more query languages including but not limited to SQL, KQL_Preferred qualifications_ :+ Experience with large-scale monitoring and telemetry platforms+ Experience in a cloud stack and leveraging cloud architecture, applying site reliability principles and/or demonstrating sensitivity to operational concerns.+ Demonstrated ability to debug, fix, and optimize code.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
