Skamania Lodge: Banquet Captain

Skamania Lodge is seeking a Full-time ! Directly responsible to the Banquet Manager for the performance of all hourly banquet food and beverage servers and houseman, and is personal representative of property management to banquet guests. As such, is expected to coordinate all aspects of the room/facilities set-up and food and beverage service so that all efforts are directed toward guest satisfaction, the achievement/maintenance of division standards and profit maximization. Job Description: Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Supervisory experience. Ability to work weekends, holidays and evening shifts. 2 years of experience in banquet food service. Washington Food Worker Card & M.A.S.T. Certification.Knowledge of service standards in buffet service, plated functions, family style service, table service, along with bartending experience. Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Intermediate computer skills.
