Sourcing Specialist

Express Employment Professionals - Manchester

This is a Full-time position in Manchester, WA posted March 10, 2021.

$35/hr Temp Sourcing Specialist needed in the Manchester area!Summary: Creating & Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Will ensure timely procurement of required goods & Services, as well as be able to develop & implement innovative ideas to enhancing sourcing strategies.

Education/Experience Required: BS Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field OR equivalent related experience in this area (minimum of 3-5 years).

Duties: Assist Purchasing & ESC/Sourcing Manager in creating sourcing plans & identifying sourcing needs to support the business.

Assist in sourcing events & negotiations to achieve cost savings & Cost avoidance targets.

Lead & execute RFP & other competitive bidding events.

work with Logistics/Warehouses to provide samples to suppliers for quoting purposes.

Interface with Quality Assurance to coordinate supplier qualifications & First-Article testing.

Utilize spreadsheets for tracking any and all open projects, BOM”s, supplier evals, tooling quotes & comparing bids etc.

Requirements: Must have strong time management & organizational skills as well as attention to detail.

Excellent Oral & written communication skills.

Knowledge & familiarity with the manufacturing processes (Injection Molding, Machining, Electronics/assembly, fabrics etc.

)Profficient in Office Programs, as well as Outlook.
