Sr Analyst, Reporting & Analytics

The Reporting and Analytics team within T-Mobile’s Finance Company (FinCo) is the provider of operational and financial reporting for device financing (loan/lease) operations. Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Analytics, will be responsible for supporting the Financial Services business by providing financial, regulatory, and operation reporting solutions. The person will work with cross-functional teams to identify needs for business insights and address them effectively and efficiently. Open to Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS • At least 18 years of age.• Legally authorized to work in the United States.• High School Diploma or GED.• Pre-employment background screen. 4 years relevant professional experience. Able to write complex SQL using a variety of User Interfaces (e.g., TOAD, Teradata SQL Assistant, SAS Enterprise Guide or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio) Experience building dashboards and reports with tools like Tableau and Power BI Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint with strong presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical concepts in a simple way Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related preferred. Develop standard self-service reporting that enable access to insights for business users Create KPI scorecards, dashboards and reports that provide insights on business performance Write SQL scripts to create datasets & metrics to identify business process & system anomalies Analyze any issue alerts from Process Monitors and determine severity & root cause Perform quick and insightful ad-hoc analyses that lead to actionable recommendations Perform impact assessment and root cause analysis for issues across financial systems and tools Assist Accounting teams with reconciliations and explain observed variances Build effective relationships with internal and external business partners. Work with teams across the enterprise, including IT, Marketing, Credit, Finance, Treasury, and Accounting, to provide reporting solutions to drive enterprise financial results.
