Find your future with us.Insitu has an immediate need for a highly skilled, government procurement expert, project manager and purchasing leader.This roles responsibilities include:Manage all aspects of supplier/subcontractor relationship and performance throughout all contract phases.Maintains collaboration with R&D Integrated product teams (IPT) and other Insitu organizations to understand their requirements.Leads supplier integration plans by assessing supplier capacity/capability to perform current and projected work statement and to support Insitu procurement strategy and contractual compliance.Conducts root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical/business issues; identifies solutions to establish the basis for recovery plans; communicates across stakeholders to report status and concerns.Interfaces with management and specialists from other functional disciplines to provide leadership and coordination throughout all aspects of supplier/subcontractor relationships and the subcontract management process.Participates or leads in sourcing strategy and contract development across the company, maintaining a FAR 15 compliant procurement environment.Gathers industry intelligence, coordinates or supports the evaluation of supplier proposals, including terms and conditions, pricing, schedule, risk assessment and best value to identify the appropriate supplier to fulfill the customer requirement.May establish and lead the negotiation team in discussions with the supplier to achieve desired business or program goals.

Manages all aspects of supplier relationship and performance throughout all contract phases.May serve as a mentor to other in SM&P.

Integrates overall procurement activities by utilizing the supplier management plan when applicable.A qualified candidate will have:A Bachelors degree, Masters a strong plus!10-14 years of professional experience in a similar role with proven experience negotiating with vendors is required.
