Responsibilities
Responsible for integration of the separate functions to include funding, supply, maintenance, procurement, provisioning, transportation/ transportability, new equipment training, and fielding of assigned systems and/or similar equipment into a logistics management program throughout the entire life cycle of assigned systems.
Assesses system deployment plans to assure that distribution and support planning is substantive and accurate. Coordinates with other offices to ensure accomplishment of planning for special maintenance or support facilities and development and availability of training programs, new equipment training teams and training aids. Furnishes technical advice on the adequacy and/or feasibility of recommendations and approves changes for resolution of problems. Evaluates problems and recommends/initiates corrective actions to include tasking and evaluating support of various functional areas.
Qualifications
Required
- Active or Interim Secret Clearance
- DMLSS experience
- Experience providing integration of wholesale and retail supply maintenance systems and policies and resolving interface problems with Defense supply systems
- Experience providing logistics assistance and advice by investigating, coordinating, and recommending solutions to logistic problems and deficiencies affecting deployed system(s).
- Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Years
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree
