What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for? As part of the modern applications platform solution engineering team, you will be involved in architecting and implementing solutions to help increase adoption of the Tanzu portfolio of products. You will participate in all phases of the software development cycle as part of a Scrum team. Work in multi-functional agile teams to regularly experiment, iterate, and deliver on new product objectives with end-to-end responsibility for your team’s goals. Your primary responsibilities will include: Collaborate with the Executive Team, Product Management, Architects, and existing engineering teams to design, develop, and publish software extending an existing products capabilities, or build net new solutions. Collaborate with UX teams, product managers and other technical teams to create optimized and delightful user experiences Learn and apply new technologies, best design practices and usability patterns Work with fast evolving cloud native technologies Produce high quality and well-documented code in an automated CI/CD environment. Contribute to relevant open source projects. Work in multi-functional agile teams to regularly experiment, iterate, and deliver on new product objectives with end-to-end responsibility for your team’s goals. Obsess over quality in the code you write and the product you create. Advance your technical and interpersonal skills in an environment that looks to expand them. Required Skills: Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming & Design, and data modelling Excellent coding skills in Java & deep understanding of Java Spring application framework 20 years experience in design and implementation of distributed, multi-tier enterprise applications, service interface and public (REST) APIs Deep understanding of distributed computing concepts in practice Ability to work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment, including quickly getting up to speed with new technologies Proficient organizational skills with the ability to lead challenging demands BE/MTech in Computer Science or equivalent degree is required Preferred Skills: Broad experience architecting, managing, implementing, and evolving end-to-end service delivery pipelines of a variety of web-scale applications Experience building SaaS services Experience with Public Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
