We’re looking for a new corporate communications and brand reputation rock star to join us!As part of this, you will lead strategic communications programs for new and existing DE& I initiatives such as PRIDE and Military Appreciation Month among others, as well as proactively partnering with colleagues across HR, Marketing and PR to develop plans supporting T-Mobile’s Hispanic and Multicultural portfolio.

You will also lead and support communication activities for our CSR programs such as Changemaker Challenge, Earth Day/#TreeMobile, Annual Giving Campaigns and more!You will help develop plans, draft messaging and other materials including media pitches, newsroom postings and logistics, and help support all-up team operations, reporting and analytics.Bottom-line, you’ll get to wear a lot of hats in this role and you’ll come with a passion for developing and driving ” Best-in-class” PR programs and results, an ability to collaborate across the company with key stakeholders; and a healthy dose of curiosity and desire to learn and grow your career in the world of Un-carrier PR!

No day is ever the same!To sum it up you should be a multi-talented badass and natural collaborator with no ego, a hunger to learn and an unquenchable desire to beat up the competition while doing great, memorable, epic, awesome things.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute and support comms plans supporting an annual drumbeat of PR for T-Mobile’s Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (DE&I) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) portfolios, amplifying news moments and evergreen storytelling related to workplace culture.Develop external comms plans supporting CSR initiatives, Project 10Million, giving campaigns and CSR reporting.Support large-scale DE& I initiatives including T-Mobile’s Memorandum of Understanding and employment culture-related initiatives such as PRIDE, Veterans Day, Military Appreciation.Proactively partner with partners across HR, Marketing and PR to develop plans supporting T-Mobile’s Hispanic and Multicultural portfolio.

Lead development of an integrated multicultural comms plan, drawing on insights gained from the Hispanic portfolio and applying it to other multicultural programs.Manage external PR agency support and manage the in-house and external mix for ongoing support of the portfolio.Partner with HR to support external amplification of other HR-focused initiatives including support of HR leadership in external engagement opportunities.Provide cross-team project support as needed, including development of key messages, scripts, Q& As, press releases and other materials for activities from across the Brand Reputation PR team.Support team reporting all up, including data gathering and analysis (quarterly, YoY).Be able to jump in on projects where needed without needing weeks to get up to speed!Qualifications5 years’ experience working at a PR/marketing agency or corporate comms/PR team.Experience creating PR strategies and executing on them.Experience working with media.Demonstrated strong organizational skills.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to partner across the company and with different teams.Understanding of PR and media tools, analytics and measurement.Understanding of social media’s impact on media relations.Proficient using MS Office.Bachelor’s degree is required.Strong writing and editing skills attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Urgency and flexibility.Calm under pressure and tight deadlines.Desired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or higherExperience with well-known consumer product brands.Understanding of consumer technology and wireless technologies.Media or PR background.Personal CharacteristicsThrives in a fast-paced culture of change and innovation; we cannot stress this enough you have to be able to think on your feet and pivot on a dime.A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with a bias towards action; a self-starter who takes initiative rather than waiting for direction; general ass-kickerExcellent follow-through skills you do what you say you’ll do and dot the i’sPositive interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking, upbeat attitude, high integrity, persistence and personal initiative all are required.Minimum QualificationsAt least 18 years of ageLegally authorized to work in the United StatesHigh School Diploma or GEDCompany ProfileAs America’s Un-carrier, T-Mobile USA, Inc.
