Tacoma Clamp Operator

JOIN OUR TRANSLOAD DOCK TEAM! As a Clamp Operator in our TACOMA, WA facility, you will be responsible for pulling orders using the clamp lift, maintaining inventory and moving product from the dock to the next container fast and efficiently.  Apply Now if you meet the qualifications below! – Must have experience  OR call/text the Staffmark Main Office for more details: 425-687-6362 This is a temp to hire opportunity.  Responsibilities  • Loads and unloads shipments using clamp  • Verifies materials and packing slips, and stocks items as appropriate  • Pulls, picks, and stages orders based on customer or production needs, prepares items for shipment or production, and completes appropriate paperwork or updates system records.  • Operates a forklift/clamp and other machinery or tools to transport, move, stock, and store materials and product.  • Completes appropriate paperwork and/or enters data regarding incoming materials, work-in progress, outgoing orders, and other operations to ensure records and counts are accurate.  • Assists with maintaining an inventory of materials, product, and goods, such as completing cycle counts, performing calculations, entering information, and other related duties.  • Performs other duties as assigned.  Requirements  • Must have at least 6months – 1 year experience operating the Clamp forklift  • Following directions under limited supervision  • Ability to learn warehousing, shipping, and receiving principles and practices  • Performing basic mathematical calculations  • Lifting and loading materials  • Complying with safety and operational guidelines, policies, and procedures About Staffmark Staffmark is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, medical condition, genetic information, mental and physical disability, political affiliation, union membership, status as a parent, military or veteran status or other non-merit based factors.
