Job Number: 210617 Department: Nephrology Hours: 40We have a new full time opening in our Nephrology clinic for a RN. This is 40 hours per week, no weekends or holidaysOur Nephrology clinic specializes in medical treatment of kidney disease and high blood pressure. Many of our patients have kidney disease as a complication of diabetes.We help our patients to bring hard-to-treat high blood pressure under control through exercise, diet modifications and appropriate medications.In some cases our patients may be prepared for either dialysis or kidney transplantation. We partner with Urologists to provide diagnostic procedures and surgical treatment. Providing skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, Supporting the care team in the provision of patient care. Providing patient advice Assisting in prioritizing daily work of the clinic Providing direction to team members, including oversight of Medical Assistant’s clinical competency. Qualifications: Current Washington State licensure as an RN CPR certification is required every two years Bachelors of Science of Nursing Strong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting, current working knowledge of electronic medical records.Virginia Mason offers much more than competitive compensation and benefits.
