JOB TITLE: BartenderREPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Director/Assistant ManagerPOSITION TYPE: Variable hours part time/health benefits after 1 year and 1456 hours worked.PAY RATE: $13.69 + gratuitySummary:The role of the Bartender is to create and mix drinks while maintaining a culture of service that exemplifies the Campbell’s way. The Bartender is charged with producing a high quality and guest experience, while building sales and increase profitability; to maintain the highest standards in guest service.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 21 years of age.3-4 years’ experience in hands on, high volume, bar environment.Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Possess a high tolerance for stress, ability to multitask and adapt to change.Ability to communicate effectively and delegate appropriately.Possess a natural ability to and easily create rapport.Must be able to stand/walk for periods of 8-12 hours per shift. Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40lbsA Food Handler’s permit is required within 14 days of hire.A current WSLCB Class 12 Mixologist Permit within 60 days of hire.Have a clear understanding Bar COG and labor management. THE BRASS TACKS Prepares and serves drinks to guests in accordance with established standards. Ensures standard measures are utilized when mixing and pouring drinks. Maintains current knowledge of drink recipes, service techniques and bar terminology.Processes guest payments, using proper accounting and cash handling procedures.Keeps accurate logs of inventory and consumption. Sets up, re-stocks, maintains, cleans and breaks down bar areas. Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of beverages. Provides timely and courteous follow-through on all client, guest and team member requests.Keeps work area clean and organized. Adheres to and maintains standards for guest interactions, personal grooming, sanitation, and safe food handling.Follows all safety procedures. Reports all unsafe conditions immediately. Ensures all equipment is used only as intended. Complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding the serving and consumption of alcohol. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:This is a variable-hour position, expected work hours are based on seasonal volume, business demand, and hours of operation. Weekends, nights and holidays are also necessary.
