Cook Purpose:

Do you love to feed people delicious food and have the drive to exceed expectations? Our cooks follow our recipes to produce meals that are up to the Living Care standard fresh, healthy, attractive, and delicious! We also depend on our cooks to make sure that all food is scrumptious and safe, keeping our kitchens neat and sanitary, and our food within prescribed health standards. As a member of the Signature Dining team, you ll chip in with doing everything necessary for a tasty and enjoyable dining experience!

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 years applicable food service experience
  • Previous experience in both restaurant and senior living settings preferred
  • Must have a strong commitment to customer service and desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, write and speak English to interpret menus and recipes and to communicate effectively with residents, families, other team members and vendors
  • Must meet all health-related and food handling requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies
  • Must maintain current CPR/First Aid credentials
  • Must maintain current Food Handlers credentials
  • Subject to pre-employment screening including physical, drug and TB testing and criminal background check

Essential Functions:
