Sales Representative – Medical Lab Sales Experience Required Lynnwood

This is a Full-time position in Lynnwood, WA posted June 4, 2021.

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative

 

Sales will identify, target, and pursue profitable new business enterprises in each of the assigned territories. The cumulative goal is generate excess capital to fund current and future corporate obligations, expansions into new markets, and to pursue new business opportunities as they arise. 

 

General Areas of Responsibility

  • Pursue profitable new business opportunities for our services in assigned territory
  • Assess and identify territory for potential Testing Facilities, Patient Service Centers (PSC), or In Office Phlebotomy (IOP) sites
  • Develop one year and five year strategies for new business in territory
  • Jointly set monthly and annual sales targets with Manager for territory
  • Actively participate in periodic sales planning and goal setting for Company
  • Actively participate in weekly sales conference calls
  • Identify and develop strategic relationships to further our Sales reach
  • Use company provided tools to document individual sales calls and activities
  • Use company provided tools to document intelligence about the marketplace and our competitors Identify market trends in the health care arena to share with Marketing
  • Understand Interpath products, services, and capabilities
  • Be a valued resource to our Clients and potential Clients
  • Attend periodic trade shows and conferences; which may include working some weekends and evenings
  • Promptly respond to all phone calls and emails following proper company etiquette
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients, patients, and company information at all times
  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with company policies and applicable public rules and regulations
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to assure patient confidentiality

 

 

Education: Bachelors degree preferred, but individual with sales experience considered

 

Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license with no restrictions

 

Experience: 2+ years sales and lab experience.  History of managing a large geographic territory, with sales or service experience, preferably in the medical field.  Proven record of success. Cold calling experience a must.  Must be able to drive vehicles with either standard or automatic transmission.

  • Occasionally lifting up to 30- 60 lbs. 
  • Able to enter and exit assigned vehicle. Able to sit in vehicle/drive for up to 2 hours nonstop. 
  • Able to load & unload assigned vehicle, with frequent bending involved. 
  • Drive assigned vehicle in all types of conditions, including built-up areas, freeway, and rural traffic, hours of darkness, and inclement weather. 
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, stooping to perform vehicle inspections and minor operator maintenance.

OSHA Category

This position performs tasks that involve minimal exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series but for this position, it is optional.
