Sales Analyst


This is a Full-time position in Seattle, WA posted April 28, 2021.

The CP Sales Analyst serves as a headquarters-based go-to for assigned customers supporting both the Field Sales and Headquarters teams in providing exemplary customer business performance.

Responsibilities center around supporting the Sales team, and in cooperation with cross-functional peers within the Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing teams to grow Darigold volume and profit as well as enhance partnership of Darigold and assigned customer and elevate the reputation of Darigold and Dairy Industry with assigned customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Comprehensive sales and customer support in service of Darigold’s business, growing volume and profit.

Responsibilities fall into 4 main areas: Sales analytics, Promotion Planning, Forecasting, Customer Documentation.Sales Analytics
– provide ongoing, periodic and ad hoc sales reporting of Darigold and customer KPI’s, performance metrics and deliverablesCustomer POS data analysisSyndicated data analysisDarigold reportingCustomer business metrics and score-cardingLine review and other customer sales presentation supportActionable category trends and insightsMacro customer reportingPromotion Planning
– manage execution and analysis of all Darigold/customer trade promotion agreementsComplete and accurate promotion entry in Darigold systemsComplete and accurate submission of promotions in Customer systemsPre-negotiation promo plan evaluation to ensure effectiveness, compliance with Darigold promotion and pricing guardrails, and achievement of Darigold AOP objectivesPost-negotiation promo analysis and reporting to improve and optimize effectiveness, compliance and achievementSupport of accurate and timely reconciliation of promotion deduction and paymentsForecasting
– ensure accurate and up-to-date forecast for all assigned customersAccurate estimate of promotion forecasts and timingAccurate estimate of new item launch volumes and timingMaintain accurate baseline volumes and seasonality adjustmentsRegular reporting on customer and item forecast accuracyCustomer Documentation
